Chicago Theatre
The grandeur of The Chicago Theatre often leaves its visitors breathless. When it opened on October 26, 1921, it was called the "Wonder Theatre of the World." It was the first large, lavish movie palace in America and was the prototype for all others of this type. The vertical sign "C-H-I-C-A-G-O," at nearly six stories high, is one of the few such signs in existence today. A symbol of State Street and Chicago, the sign and marquee are landmarks themselves. The Chicago Theatre image highlights the theatre's iconic sign and the building's beautiful, distinctive façade with musician Andrew Bird's name on the marquee.

Countryside Flight With the Red Baron Squadron
The Red Baron's distinct fully-designed biplanes are a colorful addition to the skies. The Red Barons fly open-cockpit biplanes, known as Stearman-made planes. They were used by the Navy to train pilots to fly during WWII and were built by the Boeing Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kan. This colorful image is a perfect gift for the avid airplane collector or decorative theme for a child's room.

Eiffel Tower: The Iron Tower
Two Versions
The construction of the Eiffel Tower in1889 was Gustave Eiffel's crowning achievement. One of the most well-known, iconic structures, it came to fruition as a result of Gustave Eiffel winning a major competition to study the possibility of "erecting an iron tower on the Champ-de-Mars." Whether it's a close-up of the beautiful, iron lattice tower or several versions of Paris' Iron Tower in the spring, we have Eiffel Tower artwork to fit many décors: Version I, B & W; Version II, color.

Ground Level View
Two versions
A beautiful cloud-filled day reflected in one of Chicago's architectural wonders. Your eyes naturally follow the leading lines to the sky, and a surreal view of a towering building that seems to reach out and touch the clouds: Version I & Version II.

The Left Bank Stage, On the Waterfront
On the Waterfront: The Left Bank Stage, a cool September night, and the smooth sounds of Blues greats like Lonnie Brooks. The On the Waterfront festival is set in downtown Rockford—but its electricity lights up an entire city. The excitement is contagious. The images—unforgettable.

Let's Take the New Orleans Streetcar
The New Orleans "St. Charles Streetcars," like the equally famous San Francisco Cable Cars, have been declared moving national historic landmarks. Streetcars have been running along St. Charles Avenue for over 165 years.

Monarch
A Monarch butterfly, perhaps the best known of all North American butterflies, is perched on a Mexican sunflower in the afternoon sun.

Nachusa Grasslands Beauty I, False Sunflower
Nachusa Grasslands is one of the Nature Conservancy's greatest ongoing success stories and one of Illinois' largest and last surviving prairie landscapes. It's home to 600 native plant species and 180 species of birds. This image of a beautiful field of sunflowers, created at the end of a lovely summer day, is a happy image. It was chosen to adorn a wall in the Stott home (Lena, IL) by one of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition artists.

Nachusa Grasslands Beauty II, Great Angelica
My eye was drawn to this structurally diverse plant; not unlike a colorful broccoli plant. Its beautiful blossoms are reminiscent of fabulous, Fourth of July explosions of color and texture.

Nachusa Grasslands Beauty III, Golden Alexander
In this colorful, floral image, there is enough color diversity to suit any palette. Chartreuse yellow, orange, peach, green, purple and blue are among the many offerings.

Steamboat Natchez
The New Orleans Steamboat Company's "Steamboat Natchez," in port at dawn; eerie and surreal.

Phalaenopsis Orchid Flower
Known also as the Moth Orchid, the Phalaenopsis Orchid flower is gentle and beautiful. This image is sized for a 12x12 gallery-wrapped canvas (black sides versus image wrapping). The result of this type of presentation is three dimensional and resembles a painting more so than a photograph.

Sinnissippi Gardens
Located along the Rock River, the Sinnissippi Gardens features an All-American Rose Selection (AARS-accredited) rose garden with approximately 2,000 rose plants and 62 varieties. Also unique to the gardens is a 32 ft. floral clock colorfully planted with thousands of annuals, a peaceful shaded perennial garden and a beautiful wooden pergola.

Striking!
Three versions
There is nothing comparable to a lovely pair of sculptured legs in stilettos—they're quite striking! Captured in a late afternoon light and in an urban setting, the image creates a striking juxtaposition between the objects of beauty, both soft and graceful, against the rigid concrete and wood backdrop. This image is offered in three versions: Version I, color posterization; Version II, B&W; Version III color.
